Milk Cooling Assessment

The milk cooling assessment is becoming an increasingly important assessment, particularly with the change to the MPI regulations around on farm milk cooling due in June 2018.

This assessment requires two visits to the farm –  firstly to install data loggers and secondly to remove the data loggers and upload data collected. A report is completed by a trained assessor  who can analyse the data and help the farmer by noting any non-compliances against the standards, or where improvement in cooling system can be made.
