QCONZ Staff Conference 2021
Date: June 2021
Wow what a great event!
Last week the QCONZ team came together for their bi-annual staff conference. Hosted at the Distinction Hotel in Rotorua, this was a great opportunity for the team to get to know one another better and gain a greater understanding and appreciation of the QCONZ business; what we do and why we do it. Team building opportunities were mixed throughout the learning sessions and staff had an opportunity to brainstorm and share improvement ideas at the end.
A big thank you to Charlotte Rutherford (Fonterra Director of on-farm excellence) for her time and input. Thank you also to the team from Pipeline who delivered a fantastic team building exercise, and guest speaker Mike Allsop who shared his truly inspirational story and path to personal success.
Lots of fun and laughter was shared by all the team who are now energised with a clear focus on the task ahead.
QCONZ has been successful in our bid to be an approved audit agency for the NAIT accreditation programme assessment which launched this week.
Ko Tatou – This is us – Biosecurity 2025 Biosecurity is important to our business, our sector, farmers, and farming communities and to the overall economy of New Zealand. A proactive approach to biosecurity is good business risk management. It is also part of caring for the communities we live and work in.
On 31st January Josh Wheeler (QCONZ) and Nick Dowson (BOP Dairy Farmer) began their journey to cycle New Zealand from Cape Reinga to Bluff! This is no mean feat!
