Date: July 2021
Congratulations Tyree!
Tyree Connor our National Training Manager has taken up the position as Head Judge of New Zealand’s Amateur Rock n Roll Association. Tyree started dancing in 1986 and has competed and judged at the top levels of the New Zealand Rock n Roll competitions for more than 30 years. This year Tyree will take her turn to lead the National Judging Cohort for the two Championships. This includes the training and ongoing professional development of more than 30 judges, as well as the judging management of the two National Championships held each year. “It’s a busy role and I always said I’ll take a turn when needed. In this new Covid world I hope my skillset will be a timely support for the dancers and judges to navigate the challenges of unparalleled change,” says Tyree.
