Inhibitory Substance Audits

Inhibitory Substance Audits will generally occur after a farmer receives a positive inhibitory substance result for a consignment of milk. These audits are critical to finding out why this happened and so protect future milk supply.

QCONZ will carry out a detailed audit of  farm management systems and procedures, to try and identify the cause of the downgrade. We also provide advice on how to avoid inhibitory substance contamination re-occurring.

Audit reports are completed electronically and can be submitted to a client the same day as they are completed on farm.
