Cycling trip to give young Tauranga man his wheels

Date: 31st January 2022

On 31st January Josh Wheeler (QCONZ) and Nick Dowson (BOP Dairy Farmer) began their journey to cycle New Zealand from Cape Reinga to Bluff!  This is no mean feat!

And all for a great cause – helping to assist Nathan, a young Tauranga man with cerebral palsy, into a wheelchair-accessible vehicle.  This will improve the quality of Nathan’s life no end.

If you are out and about in February, keep an eye out and cheer the team on!  We are picking that their backsides will be sore, so they will need lots of encouragement!

The team has set up an Instagram page so we can follow their progress and a Givealittle page to learn more about the ride, and for donations towards this great cause (links below).

We wish Josh, Nick, and their support crew a safe and exciting journey.
