Approved audit agency for NAIT accreditation programme

Date: April 1 2022

QCONZ has been successful in our bid to be an approved audit agency for the NAIT accreditation programme assessment which launched this week.

The new NAIT accreditation scheme run by OSPRI is now open to applicants who will need to go through a screening that includes completing online education modules and an audit assessment.

Applicants will be audited for compliance with the:

  • NAIT Standards for Accreditation of Entities dealing with NAIT Animals, such as meat processor sites, saleyards, or export facilities
  • NAIT Standards for Accreditation of Information Providers, those who want to provide a service to farmers to help meet their NAIT obligations
